Description
of the Program
The Math Learning Program is for
Washington State University students who need Math 90N, Math 91N, and Math 99N courses. It is
administered by the Institute for Extended Learning, a division of the
Community Colleges of Spokane. This
program is expressly for WSU students who need additional instruction or
review, prior to taking required university-level math classes. Our mission is to prepare our students to take
WSU Department of Mathematics classes that they will need for their program of
study. To do this, we offer a
combination of lecture-based and computer-delivered instruction. Through a mixed delivery approach the MLP is
better able to meet the differing learning styles of our students. For WSU distance degree students the MLP
offers computer-delivered learning, and paper/pencil testing. Our program is
committed to student success. We will do
anything within reason to enable you to succeed.
